Delete Your Sunrise Alarm Account
You can permanently delete your Sunrise Alarm account and associated personal data at any time either directly inside the mobile app or via email without reinstalling the app.
Option 1: Instant Deletion Inside Sunrise Alarm
- Open Sunrise Alarm and go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Option 2: Web / Email Deletion Request (No App Required)
If you have already uninstalled Sunrise Alarm or cannot sign in, submit a deletion request from the email address linked to your account:
Email privacy@spirish.com to Delete AccountInclude your registered account email address with subject “Sunrise Alarm Account Deletion Request”.
What Data Is Deleted vs. Retained
- Permanently Deleted (within 30 days): Deleting your account permanently erases your Firebase Authentication login and all Cloud Firestore synced alarm and preference records. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.
- Subscription Billing Note: Deleting your app account does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Please also cancel any active renewal in your Apple ID or Google Play Subscriptions menu.
- Minimal Legal Retention: Anonymous financial/tax receipt records issued by Apple or Google and security abuse logs (if any) are retained only to the extent required by applicable tax and fraud-prevention laws.
